I received my undergraduate and masters degrees from Harvard University.
After fulfilling careers in investment banking and global energy corporate management, I dedicated myself to studying and teaching.
During the last five years, my IBDP students in a US international boarding school were subjected to unconventional intellectual rigors through an uncompromising program of reading, lectures, writing, and riotous discussion.
My IBDP History students have earned the maximum possible grade in their IB exams 20 times more often than the overall population of IB History candidates.
Now I am looking to innovate in a new way by taking my teaching directly to driven students around the world, convening them in a virtual classroom.
In this way, I hope to extend educational opportunities to the many more future stars who do not make it to an elite college preparatory school, or whose intellectual exploration is stymied by restrictive classroom environments.
I am a lifelong student myself, and have been engaged in graduate studies in history for many years. I divide my time between homes in the mountains of the American West and London.
